Provide para-professional accounting work by applying independent decision-making and professional judgment in all assigned areas. Provide technical, fiscal advice and service relating to the Accounts Payable functions, including Statewide Integrated Financial Tool (SWIFT) vouchers, invoices, account reconciliations, and other related accounting duties.
Handle complex transactions that require an understanding of SWIFT to effectively control, analyze, audit, and prepare appropriate accounting records and reports and recognize and mitigate errors or problems. Serve as the primary case manager for Adult Career Pathways services (ACP) which includes OnRamp, Bridge, Pathways to Prosperity (P2P) and FastTRACK programs. Also provide Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Federal Dislocated Worker (DW), adult programs and State Dislocated Worker services to eligible recipients, along with career services to universal customers. Serve as a liaison between local CareerForce locations and education agencies, including secondary, post-secondary, Adult Basic Education (ABE) and Employers throughout the region. Assist in the implementation and coordination of regional FastTRACK initiatives. Also assist universal customers with career services in the way of resource area support and workshop development and facilitation.

Serve as a Broadband Financial Analyst for state and/or federally funded financing programs at the Office of Broadband Development (OBD) at DEED. The Office develops and administers programs designed to achieve high quality broadband access for all Minnesotans and to support and promote the skills necessary to adopt and use broadband tools for economic, educational, health, and institutional benefits. Be responsible for providing proactive and consultative strategic and analytical financial assistance to the OBD team and coordinate with the DEED Administrative and Financial Services (AFS) team.
