- Bus or gas cards for transportation

- Meets Monday – Friday from 9:30am-1:30pm
- Provides soft skills training, including interview preparation, resumes and cross-cultural skills
- Job placement assistance upon successful completion of the course
- Financial assistance and social service support is available for transportation, childcare, and housing
- Food Safety & Infection Control
- Special Diets & American Foods
- Customer Service Practices
- Communication with Residents
- Northstar Digital Literacy
- Must be a person born outside of the United States

For entry into the program students will need to take a reading assessment (estimated to take 2 hours). A 5th grade reading level is required for eligibility for the course.
