Virtual Hennepin County Resource Fair Wednesday, November 5, 2025 from 1 – 2 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend the Virtual Hennepin County Resource Fair to learn about many of the resources Hennepin County provides to Hennepin County residents. Each department will give a short presentation about the resources they offer. After the presentations, you will have the opportunity to ask questions. 1. On the day of the event, simply join the event by clicking this meeting link or the link in your email: https://hc.adobeconnect.com/hennepincountyresourcefairnov5/ Departments attending: Child Services • Child Support helps establish paternity, sets up court orders for child support, collects child support and more. • Family Health - Family Home Visiting sends health professionals to visit families to help make sure their babies and children are heathy and safe. Emergency Assistance • Emergency Assistance helps Hennepin County residents that are in a financial crisis. Healthcare • Child & Teen Check Up connects people 21 and younger who receive healthcare benefits through Medical Assistance with health services. • Hennepin Health gives health care coverage to residents enrolled in a Minnesota health care program. Immigrant and Refugee Services • Office of Multicultural Services offers help in more than 20 languages. Services include helping people apply for benefits, find jobs, resolve housing problems and more. Job Search • Work Supports Training Specialists offer free job search, financial literacy and small business development webinars each week. Legal Aid • Adult Representation Services helps people experiencing poverty with legal representation in certain civil areas. Attorneys from housing, immigration and child support contempt will attend this event. • Law Library librarians can help you find information and resources for legal research. legal forms, patent search tools, books and more. Parenting • Parent Support Outreach Program (PSOP) helps parents with children 10 and under meet urgent needs such as applying for financial resources, health challenges including services for families dealing with opioid dependence, crisis counseling and more.
