Provide support to Workforce Development Unit (WDU) counselors by acting as a program liaison to assist with the referral, application, and intake process. Assist the counselor with case management duties while facilitating service implementation within the Individualized Plan for Employment in a timely manner. Provide Statewide Integrated Financial Tools System (SWIFT) support for WDU counselors as a buyer through Authority for Local Purchase (ALP) certification. With support of the counselor, communicate independently with vendors related to service implementation and provision, especially on the fiscal side. Provide direct and indirect services to employed or ready-to-be-employed customers in the WFD unit of State Services for the Blind (SSB) to assist them in obtaining or maintaining employment.

Business Enterprises Program Account Clerk - Job ID 76451May be eligible for some telework | St. Paul | Closes 5/17/2024
Provide accounting and administrative support to State Services for the Blind’s (SSB) Business Enterprises Program (BEP) director, staff, and approximately twenty-three (23) BEP licensed blind vendors. Be responsible for the receipt, facilitation, reconciliation, and input of all BEP licensed blind vendor monthly ledgers. Provide support to the Account Clerk, Senior as needed.
Receive, process, and track monthly ledgers and accounts receivables, ensuring accuracy and following DEED, SSB, and BEP policies and procedures, applicable state and federal laws, rules and regulations, and contracts/agreements. Send default letters in instances where vendors are not compliant with their ledger and payment obligations. Create monthly reconciliation reports which tracks all financial activity related to the monthly ledgers, set-aside payments, and defaults.
