PLEASE READ | EVENT REDESIGNED & POSTPONEMENT
In showing respect for Black Milwaukee, our Board of Directors decided to cancel Milwaukee Black Street Days due to some complications in the planning.  Primarily due to another event in the same area, "Heal The Hood" which unfortunately our planning committee just recently learned about.  The in-person Milwaukee Black Wall Street Days event has been canceled until further notice.   Due to our limited staff and other upcoming events in the country,  our next event in Milwaukee is MLK NOW 2025, stay posted.

Instead, we welcome all the guests to join us for our first-ever Virtualthon, May 27th, on Memorial Day - Remembering and Rebuilding Black Wall Streets.  This online virtual show will focus on the history of Black Wall Street Days across the United States, not just in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which occurred on May 31, 1921, which is why the month of May is associated with Black Wall Street, the legendary massacre of Blacks in the Greenwood District, and the destruction of many vibrant Black communities across America.

Do you know a Minnesota Black Father who deserves recognition for their contributions to society? Please email us with your suggestions [email protected].

All are welcome!
Pop-Up Advocacy will no longer be at Dorothy Day/SPOC on Thursdays. Instead, we are happy to announce that we will be participating in the Community Resource Outreach Project (CROP) at George Latimer Library in Saint Paul. This event will take place from 10:00am to 12:00pm every Thursday and unites several organizations and community resources to offer drop-in assistance for individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness. It’s a great opportunity to connect with our community and provide support where it’s needed most. We will still be at Rondo Community Library Tuesdays from 11:00am-3:00pm. As always, everyone is welcome, and the Education & Outreach team is excited to continue our advocacy work in this new setting!
